As a celebrant, I can work closely with you to write and conduct your wedding ceremony which is absolutely special to you, a day to remember. Your wedding will be unlike having a service led by a religious minister or registrar who use standard words and are restricted.
You may want a traditional style wedding or an alternative one, anything goes! I can help you plan the perfect ceremony that reflects your relationship together. Your wedding location does not have to be licensed. Your ceremony could be held in your back garden, in a woodland, on a beach or anywhere your imagination takes you!
Please note - celebrants in the UK are not able to legally register your marriage. You will need to go to the Register Office either earlier the same day, or a day or two before your ceremony to complete the legal registration and obtain your marriage certificate.
You may also decide to incorporate simple rituals into your wedding such as handfasting, unity candles, sand ceremony, mixing gin or exchanging rings. It is a nice way to involve family and friends if you wish.
