Funerals
Firstly, if you are reading this page because you have lost a loved one, please may I express my condolences. My heart goes out to you.
Whether you would like a traditional style funeral or a celebration of life, I can conduct a personalised ceremony. We can incorporate words, poems, music, reading's, ritual or whatever else you would like to include. Any personal preferences, family priorities, cultural or religious traditions can be included in the ceremony. There may well be tears but there may be some smiles and laughter too as we learn about a person’s life and what qualities they had.
Personalising a ceremony makes it a far more meaningful way to say good-bye. A ceremony that reflects how the person's life had meaning and how their life will continue to influence others beyond their death, gives a sense of that person living on within the hearts, minds and actions of others.
I can advise you on your choices for the celebration and will write or help you write a tribute that reflects the loves, likes, beliefs and values of the person, whilst respecting the preferences and wishes of you and your family.
Please note that I am happy to conduct a range of ceremony types including secular, semi-religious, non-denominational and spiritual ceremonies.
